18th century wood hand carved statue representing or depicting St Domenic de Guzman who is the patron saint of astronomers and natural siences. He is particularly venerated in Valletta and Birgu. The statue is in good original condition other than requiring minor restoration to 2 fingers. Total measurements 96 cm in height.
